Bhismadev Chakrabarti Expand Bhismadev Chakrabarti is Professor of Neuroscience and Mental Health at the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics at the University of Reading. He studied Chemistry at St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, where he was awarded the Seshadri memorial prize for securing the first rank in the University. He was then made the Nehru Memorial Trust scholar at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he conducted his doctoral research with Prof. Simon Baron-Cohen. Following his PhD, he was elected the Charles and Katharine Darwin Research Fellow at Darwin College, Cambridge, before moving to the University of Reading to set up his research group in 2009. His current research focuses on empathy, reward, and autism.
