London to Paris Two trips for 2018: 25th - 29th July, 12th - 16th September One of the best fundraising events in Europe. The London to Paris bike ride is an awesome cycling adventure and is one of the best fundraising events in Europe attracting hundreds of riders each year. Who is it for? Whether you’re a regular cyclist or new to cycling, looking to participate as part of a group or a solo cyclist – this is the perfect charity cycle event for you. The route: The journey begins in London with the route taking you through glorious English countryside as you cycle from Kent to Dover, before crossing the Channel to Dunkirk. Once across the water you push on cycling along quiet French country lanes, through traditional market towns with views of the rolling green hills of northern France, passing the war memorials and cemeteries of the Somme. A spectacular finish awaits up the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe, before reaching the piece de resistance, the Eiffel Tower, which marks the finish line. The days in the saddle may be long but the sense of achievement and the euphoric atmosphere as you celebrate your achievements in this magnificent capital will be well worth it! With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it’s a truly spectacular event for all involved. Who is it for? Anyone who is up for a challenge. The route: Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. Please get in touch to find out more. Land’s End to John O’Groates 28th August - 9th September 2018 This is a challenge that should be on every cyclist’s to-do list! Pedal 1000 miles, end to end, on this adventure from Land’s End to John O’Groats, the furthest possible distance in the British Isles. Covering more than 12 counties, this is one of the toughest fundraising cycle events available. Who is it for? Intermediate and expert cyclists. The route: From the rocky cliffs and pounding seas of Land’s End, through the rolling hills of Dartmoor, through the stunning mountains of the Lake District and along the Lochs of Great Glen to our finish line at the Northernmost point of the UK mainland, LEJOG will test you to your limits, but it is the most fabulous way to see the UK and one of the biggest achievements you are ever likely to accomplish! A spectacular ride across the Patagonian Andes which straddle Argentina and Chile. Who is it for? Intermediate and expert cyclists. The route: The route takes in highlights of the awe-inspiring Lake District, where snow-capped mountains fringe glacial lakes. The dramatic scenery has been shaped by millions of years of volcanic activity. Marvel at towering conical volcanoes, which contrast with lush forests and tumbling waterfalls below.
