The route: The route takes in highlights of the awe-inspiring Lake District, where snow-capped mountains fringe glacial lakes. The dramatic scenery has been shaped by millions of years of volcanic activity. Marvel at towering conical volcanoes, which contrast with lush forests and tumbling waterfalls below. Discover breath taking scenery and spectacular wildlife on this epic 350km African adventure. Who is it for? Intermediate and expert cyclists. The route: Cycle from the former capital and major port city of Dar es Salaam to the Spice Island of Zanzibar. Explore this island paradise famous for its white beaches and coconut palms surrounded by the turquoise Indian Ocean. Prudential RideLondon – Surrey 100 Sunday 4th August 2019 Celebrating the legacy of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it’s a truly spectacular event for all involved. Who is it for? Anyone who is up for a challenge. The route: Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside.
